Todd Bernacil was born in Livermore, California. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, and later received a master’s degree in Forensic DNA and Serology at the University of Florida. He currently works in the chemical industry and dabbles in computer programming and creative writing as hobbies. He grew up intrigued by European and American fairy tales, including the works of the Brothers Grimm, Alice in Wonderland, and the Wizard of Oz. He likes working out at the gym, going for nature walks, playing the piano, and spending time in Sonora, Gold Rush Country, with friends and family.
